Every request needs an API key

Create one from your dashboard and pass it in the x-api-key header, as shown in the examples below. Requests without a valid key are rejected. Your account has a monthly request quota shared across all your keys, and each key has a per-minute burst limit, both set by your plan; going over either returns 429.
